On the afternoon of October 31st, the closing ceremony of Семинар по управлению зон свободной торговли и двухстороннему режиму свободной торговли между Молдавией и Китаем sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and undertaken by the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) in Shanghai Business School, commenced with resounding success. Dai Ying, the executive vice dean of College of International Education of Shanghai Business School, and the deputy director of the MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) and Che Chunlithe expert representative and the associate professor at Shanghai University of International Business and Economics attended the ceremony.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Moldova, our bilateral relations have maintained stable development, political mutual trust has been continuously strengthened and economic cooperation has been deepened. Furthermorewe can now understand and support each other on issues related to respective core interests. "The Belt and Road" initiative has brought new opportunities for Sino-Moldova cooperation. The continuous deepening of exchanges and cooperation between China and Moldova in the free trade zone will make more positive contributions to the development of our relative fields and bilateral free trade cooperation, ultimately achieving mutual benefit and win-win results.

Ms. Antonina de Vilasco, director of the Southern Customs Department of the Moldovan Customs General, spoke highly of the training course as a representative of the seminar. She praised the organizers for high-quality and friendly attitude towards participants, and excellent organization of various activities, so does the fertile learning environment and cozy accommodation prepared for them. She stated that the arrangement of the training course is very reasonable with thorough planning and outstanding lecturer. She also expressed that China owns rich experience and skills in the design and management of free trade zones and in this seminar, many interesting successful practices have been introduced to participants, which can be used as a reference for them and a base for further cooperation.

Che Chunli expressed her anticipation to see participants take part in China International Import Expo or other exhibitions to promote their national image, popularize more Moldovan products to more Chinese people, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win result through these public platforms. She hopes that the participants can become ambassadors of bilateral economic, trade and cultural exchanges to promote bilateral cooperation, and benefit the people of China and Moldova.

Dai Ying pointed out that "The Belt and Road" initiative has brought new opportunities for Sino-Moldova cooperation. Moldova, as a member of the European Free Trade Association, has achieved impressive results in the construction of free trade zones in recent years. She hopes that participants can bring back the knowledge and friendship gained in this seminar home, promote the development of the Moldova Free Trade Zone, as well as the broader and deeper exchanges and cooperation between China and Moldova.

The seminar lasts for 20 days, with 19 participants from departments such as the General Office of the Moldovan Government, the General Administration of Customs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Kishinau Municipal Government, and the Enterprise Development Center.
